We make your dining and shopping experience more enjoyable, whilst at the same time we improve the bottom line of the venues.
While visiting Parents restaurant in Copenhagen, a customer complained that their menu was different than the one published on their website. It was there when I realised I could combine my love for food & restaurants with my software development business. Today hospitality and retail venues are using different offline platforms to manage their venues. These platforms are not interconnected with each other thus the venue manager is required to re-enter the same data several times leading to inefficiency and inaccuracies as most of the time the data is not up to date. Using mobile and cloud technologies, we have developed ''CiboApp'', a hospitality and retail venue management platform, where through one integrated cloud based back office and web, iOS and Android applications, venues such as restaurants are able to manage:
1. Sales (using our Chic iPAD based Point Of Sales terminals).
2. Products or raw material purchasing (using our iPad-mini & iPhone App.)
3. Stock Managment (using our iPad-mini & iPhone App.)
4. Table reservation via website or mobile device
5. Online food ordering or ecommerce via website or mobile device

Mobile & Interactive
People are always on the go, therefore we have developed a platform which puts the mobile customer at the forefront, with our CiboApp platform, customers can make online food orders from their mobile phones on the way to work or make table reservations for their favourite restaurant from their mobile phones and the venue receives all of this in their chic iOS or Android points of sales system. We enable the venues to interact with their customers, regardless of location, keeping them well informed about their offerings and promotions.

First of all, we are offering a platform, which is at least 100% cheaper than existing competing offline products.. In comparison to our competitors, who are using tailor made hardware, our focus is to develop tomorrow’s venue management platform, which works with commercially available tablets and has a back office which can be accessed from any computer, anytime, anywhere. With our system, we allow venue managers to manage, monitor and optimise their sales, marketing and operations from any location, even at a micro level.

 

Status
We have been developing this project for a little over a year now. The first version of the product is already complete having been tested in the market and introduced to selected customers in China and Europe.  We are already selling our product to leading companies such as Apple, Lufhansa, Stub (Lacocotte chain of restaurants) and others. Our business has grown at a rate of 67% month per month since our soft launch in Aug. 2012. Our market experience has shown that our product has a huge market potential and our company can in a very short period become a success story, following in the footsteps of Scandinavian companies such as Skype, Just Eat, Spotify and other technology companies.

Market
The potential market for Cibo is not limited to the F&B industry but extends to retail, emergency services, management of large complexes/malls, other hospitality, public services such as hospitals. The global F&B and retail industries alone are worth US$800 billion a year; with Cibo providing a more efficient route for businesses through a reduction in time required for administration, general management and greater customer satisfaction we are confident of capturing a share of this sizeable market.   

But that's not all, the revolution is just beginning…..

With the technologies we have in the pipeline, we will be able to make venues’ operations more agile and the interaction with customers more seamless and personalised. We imagine in a very short future, when you as a customer enter a venue, the server wearing Google glasses, connected to our software, will be able to recognise you, load all your customer information, and provide a personalised service. Our vision is to use affordable technology to provide an optimum dining and shopping experience, at same time making the venues more profitable!

Cibo is developed by a team of very smart software programers & f&b industry veterans passionate about changing the way people experience dinning and shopping forever. We’ve tackled projects of similar scope: we’ve designed and manufactured consumer software; and now we’re excited to build a product that can so radically change the way people are dinning and shopping.

The core team of Cibo App. is composed by 2 main partners with different specific expertise. We are a very multinational team, but with deep roots in Scandinavia and with very different and broad previous experiences.


Farry Qazi (From Denmark, Director, Business Development Manager, Cricketer)
Educated as Chemical engineer from Denmark Engineering University and MBA from Webster university in The Netherlands, but with passion for computer science and business development. Farry has more then 10 years product development experience from  working for multinational company Akzo Nobel BV and have worked in Denmark, Sweden,  Germany, The Netherlands, China and India. At the age of 36, Farry started his first trading company, which he exited successfully, to peruse his dream of software development. Farry's family owe several restaurants and since he was 13 years old, therefore he has deep understanding of F&B business and customer requirements, with Farry strong background he brings engineering perspective & professional business touch to the Cibo products. With education in both business management and political studies in Malmo - Sweden, brings Ming to a unique understanding of the sales & operations.
