Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences is a traditional austrian company owned by the Falkensteiner family since 1975. Although the preservation of tradition is a priority at the hotels, the company focuses on innovation to meet the modern demand of its guests.
Falkensteiner also applies this philosophy when looking for new ways of financing. In 2017, the hotel group found the optimal partner for its project: in October 2017, Falkensteiner launched the company's first crowdfunding together with Invesdor (formerly Finnest) - with resounding success.
Since then, Falkensteiner and Invesdor have jointly launched six successful crowdfunding rounds. In 2019, they even broke the record and raised €13,2 million, the largest crowdfunding in Europe. Worldwide, this was the third largest project at the time. Today, a total of over €27 million has been raised with more than 3,100 investors.
The 7th Falkensteiner crowdinvesting campaign ran under the motto ''Let's Keep going! - Reaching new heights together and profiting from growth''.
Falkensteiner is using the raised capital to invest in new locations, the expansion of its brand presence in Germany and in digitalisation measures, among other things. All investors not only benefit from 4 % interest p.a. or 6 % interest p.a. in the form of vouchers, but also receive attractive bonuses again such as free nights and discounts for the Falkensteiner hotels.
