Alpha Republic GmbH makes this dream reality under their brand name NEOH. The innovative food-tech company develops and sells sweets and snacks without the addition of industrial sugar or other ingredients that are problematic for our health. In 2020, NEOH was one of the fastest growing health food brands in Europe.
In two share issues, NEOH raised around €1.5 million in equity via Invesdor. NEOH intends to use the additional funds to finance the expansion of its product range and to continue its regional expansion.
NEOH used the funds raised from the first European crowdfunding primarily for marketing and sales in order to strengthen their presence at Austrian and German retail stores and to advance its business in the USA.
The company wants to revolutionise the confectionery market, which is estimated at more than 800 billion US dollars sales per year worldwide. Excessive sugar consumption has become one of the biggest health problems in the world. Thanks to its proprietary sugar replacement formula ENSO, which has virtually no effect on blood sugar levels, NEOH makes snacking healthier without sacrificing taste.
